High-power transformer 1-12 V AC/DC, "SE"

Power supply unit, specially developed for experiments with short-term high current requirements, e.g. for displaying the field line diagrams of current-carrying conductors, but also suitable for most electrical experiments.

Technical data:
Output voltage: 1 ... 12 V AC or DC, in 1 V steps
Load capacity for AC: 7 A, up to 20 A for a few seconds
for DC: 6 A, from 1 ... 6 V for a few seconds up to 25 A
Outputs are short-circuit proof
Control LEDs to indicate the different operating states:
Power: Device is active (switched on)
DC limit: DC > 20 A is supplied
AC limit: Overcurrent protection for AC
T-max: Internal temperature exceeded, outputs become inactive
I > 20 A enable: DC > 20 A can be supplied for a short time
Automatic throttling or switch-off in the event of prolonged overload
galvanic isolation from the mains (= RiSU compliant)
Output voltages can be taken from 4 mm safety sockets
